Since receiving his Cosmetologist license in the early 1990's, JT has been trained by some of the best colorist, cutting, and updo specialist in the industry, including Vidal Sasson, Yosh Toya, Allen Bush, Martin Parsons, and Horst.

Current trends and the latest styles are vital to the hair industry. JT makes it a point to travel to a number of international beauty shows throughout the year, tirelessly taking classes so his clients can rely on his up-to-date knowledge for all the latest trends. This is one of the many reasons why JT’s clients have come to count on his expertise and advice.

It’s not just his clients that rely on JT’s artistic vision. He has been a guest lecturer and platform artist for many of these big shows, as well as an educator for Sebastion, Abba, J-Line, Redken, Graham Webb, Aveda, Wella, and Coppola.
